Believe this is from the re-enactments going on this past week and if I recall it's located south of the battlefield and is the less commericalized of the two re-enactments being run this year for the 150th Anniversary of Gettysburg ...

This is a video from 2009 of a couple of college professors who take their students out to the Gettysburg battlefield for a field trip. Believe this is taken looking out towards MacPherson's Ridge with MacPherson's Barn on the left. Its not a particularly thrilling video, yet it is kind of humorous, including some of the comments by the videographer who is the son of the professor in the white hat.

Trying to finalize my vacation plans for this summer. Looks like I'll definitely be making a stop in Fredericksburg VA for Historicon 2013. Depending on itinerary finalization, might take in an ACW battlefield or two along the way. GIvoing consideration to another trip to Gettysberg, following a route some of Lee's army took on the retreat and was pursued by the Union's, maybe take time to visit Antietam, maybe South Mountain, maybe Chancellorsville. Its still all up in the air.

If things work out, and if I remember to bring a camera ... lol ... I'll see what pictures might be posted up for folks.
